What SimilarCase is

SimilarCase is a research aid for finding publicly available workers' compensation decisions that share outcome-determinative factors with a matter you describe. It is not a law firm, not a substitute for a licensed attorney, and not legal advice.

No legal advice / UPL

• Outputs are research assistance. You must verify every citation, quotation, and authority against primary sources.
• Do not rely on factor-match scores as predictions of case outcome, settlement value, or what you should file.
• Consumer / simplified presentations, if offered, provide legal information only and include disclaimers; they do not create an attorney-client relationship.

Accounts and acceptable use

• Keep credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Do not upload data you are not allowed to process, scrape paywalled databases into the product, or attempt to bypass access controls.
• Do not reverse engineer, overload, or abuse the service, APIs, or shared links.

Confidentiality

Matter materials you enter are intended for your workspace. Shared links are controlled by token; anyone with the link can view the snapshot. See the Privacy Policy for data handling.

Intellectual property

The SimilarCase product, interface, and our structured value-add layer are owned by SimilarCase. Public government decision text remains subject to applicable public-domain / government publication rules. Do not copy third-party editorial headnotes or commercial compilations into materials you publish as if they were ours.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Legal research can be wrong; independent professional judgment is required.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SimilarCase is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including reliance on research results.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date on this page.
